Does this happen with english as language as well? Please post a link to your gallery, instead of camouflaging the link in the address bar of your screenshot.

Thanks a lot for your assistant.

I could see this album normally, when not logged in.  You say you created a new user group for this user, what permissions did you set in the groups manager?
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

first i create a new user group -> friendgp1

(https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2F61.10.16.213%2Fedwin%2Fdumpsrc1.jpg&hash=a4254638c9b29b2c780af48843bf3405e8517e82)

then i grant a album for this user group to view

(https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2F61.10.16.213%2Fedwin%2Fdumpsrc2.jpg&hash=7062cdabf9e7a46fe4377eb119d8c2f4f138ffa6)

i use this user group account login, i can't see the name of the album. when i click on this album , the gallery display "The selected album/picture does not exist ! "
but i can access this album when i click the photo on the random picture list.

This is a public board, don't post your admin account there (never!). If we need an admin account, we'll ask for it. Replaced your admin account with asterisks. I suggest you change your pw immediately on your system.

You can PM me with an admin account logon and password.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

OK Eunice,

This was all down to the usergroups/visibility bug i versions 1.2.
I have changed your config to 'Show private icon to unlogged user' to YES.
I have changed user 'Edwin' to usergroup 'friendgp1', with secondary membership of the 'registered' group.  He was in registered, with secondary membership of 'friendgp1' before.

Now edwin can see all albums for his group, and the registered group.  You, as admin, can see and edit all albums.

This bug is fixed in version 1.3, so I suggest you upgrade once it's official released.  Then you can turn off the private icons if you want. :wink:
