[Solved]: How to Update?

I am unsure exactly how to update my Coppermine.  I am currently running v1.4.12 and would like to update to the most recent one. I already downloaded it, but I am unsure of where to go from here, do I simply just copy and paste all the files to my FTP or do I have to install them somewhere?

Any help would be appreciated and I apologize if this is in an easy to find location, I did search, but nothing seemed to answer my question.

I updated according to the manual, but my documentation still says 1.4.12, what did I do wrong? 

I downloaded the newest version, unzipped it to my desktop and copied them to my FTP, then I clicked the link in my Admin profile, did I miss a step?

You didn't upload the new documentation then. docs folder. Use versioncheck.php to make sure you uploaded everything.

I updated according the manual and the file check came back with everything 1.4.18 except the anycontent.php, which is still at 1.4.12, should I update that to 1.4.18 as well, or keep it as is?
