Hi,

I just downloaded and installed version 1.2 at my members.lycos.nl website and everything went well.
I have a domain also hosted by lycos and I thought I'd install it there as well, so I went through the same installation procedure as mentioned on the website here and that went well also.

But when I go to the config page, for example at http://www.domainname.com/photogal/config.php, I can fill in all the needed information but when I click on "Save New Configuration" at the bottom of the page, I get a page cannot be found error. What happens is that the link in the browser window, goes one level up. So it reloads http://www.domainname.com/config.php instead of http://www.domainname.com/photogal/config.php or http://www.domainname.com/photogal/index.php, I think.

Am I doing something wrong or is there something I can change to make it work?

Kind Regards

I just tried some other things and find out that in any form I have to fill in, like even loggin in, when I press enter or save, and the page has to refresh, it always goes one level up and then the file cannot be found since it's actually in the folder one level down.

Thanks in advance for your help

Make sure the setting in config, for 'Target address for the 'See more pictures' link in e-cards', is;
http://www.domainname.com/photogal

and not just;
http://www.domainname.com

As you can't update, if this is the problem, you will have to use your database tool to edit this in your db_config table.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Hi Casper,

Thanks for the answer. I checked that and the code is http://www.domainname.com/photogal/ , with the slash at the end. Could that be it? I'll remove it and see if that helps.

If not, I'll see if I can make the change in the database table.

Thanks again

Hi Casper,

I just tried to make the changes in the db_config file and that didn't help. I used the code, http://www.domainname.com/photogal with and without the forward slash at the end, but that didn't help.

If I pass the mouse over links on the page, it does show correctly http://www.domainname.com/photogal/whatever.php, but only when I go to the config.php file or another where I have to fill in something and then press enter or so to make the changes and then press the continue button or when then the page refreshes, then it skips the photogal folder and goes one up.

Is there anything else I could try to do?

Thanks for your time and help
