Hello,
I already installed CPG and integrated it with my phpBB2 (both links in my signature) and I'm very impressed at how well they work together. It's all fine 'cept for some minor bugs (my website, not CPG) that are easy to fix, but I'm really struggling to try to find a way to make CPG look exactly like the rest of my website. The website will eventually look a lot like this one because I will also use phpBB2's subSilver style for my site design.

Is there any way to FTP and edit certain files from the phpBB2 themes onto the CPG directory so that CPG uses the same style/theme as phpBB2?

IF NOT: Does anyone know which of these themes looks most like subSilver so that I can edit it and make it look exactly like it?

What would be the easiest way to integrate phpBB's subSilver style into Coppermine? Does anyone have it already somewhere public so I can download it?

Thank you,
Erwin.

EDIT: OK, just realized how stupid I am. Thank you anyways.  8)

The default theme is also easy to change to the look you want.  See the demo, theme styleguide, for what bit of the style.css controls what.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Yeah, I just made CPG look almost exact to phpBB2. CHECK IT OUT (Click on Forums too.   8)  Added a bunch of links, phpBB2's menu images, and fixed the css.

What theme did you use?

The default theme. It was almost identical to subSilver.

Wow; this is old. I totally forgot about this post, this gallery, this website. LOL.

Coppermine never worked out for me. I wanted to integrate it with phpBB's user table and never did so because I was inexperienced. I ended up using the Photo Album addon for phpBB instead. Worked out great but my website never gained popularity and I closed it in December of 2004 (about 1 month ago). I will NOW attemt to successfully use Coppermine once more on a more advanced project.

I just posted a subsilver theme in 1.3 themes.

Great! Maybe I'll use it too. I'd like to see it in ACTION first though.  :D Do you have a demo site?

you already posted that you'd like to see a demo - don't double post. I'll add it to the demo asap. Meanwhile, just download it, unzip it and upload it to your coppermine gallery and watch it there - no big effort, don't you think? ::)

>:( I know. But the other post was on another topic. I had to post the same here so that users reading THIS post can keep up with the idea.  ;D

I don't have Coppermine installed yet. As soon as I do I'll check this style out.  8) Sorry  :D

Well, supporters most likely use the 'view new posts' page so they see all new posts regardless of where they are.

oh, btw - since this has been posted on the cpg1.2 support board: the theme has been published for cpg1.3.x, you will not be able to use it on a cpg1.2 install without modifications. Recommended: updating cpg1.2.x to cpg1.3.2 (the most recent stable). Support for cpg1.2.x is running out, with the release of cpg1.4.x, support for 1.2 versions will be abandoned.
