I want to make a gallery only with albums and no categories. But if I don't create a album i get an errormsg in the page where I can create categories:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in www.mywebpage.dk/coppermine/catmgr.php on line 76

This error is refer also to 96 and 116.

What can I do to avoid this?

Edit;  on second reading, if you are not going to create categories, why are you  going to the category manager?
Please give full details, turn on debug mode and report what it says.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

I started from the beginng to erase -and reinstall the whole gallery. Then I create a registrered user, and an album (no categories)
Everything was OK - the user could upload pictures as I want.

Then I uploaded a lot of pictures from admin-mode. At last the user should upload a picture but then the msg:
"Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload pictures" comes.

If I look in the database with phpMyAdmin. I saw that the system has created a table called User Galleries.

I then go the admin mode and look under category -And then the message was there again:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /web/www.bryggerscenen.dk/www/coppermine/catmgr.php on line 76

Report what debug says when you get this message.
