Ok, I'm a newbie but I think I've caught on quick.

My problem is this:

With Coppermine's Default Theme loaded the page shows up perfectly for the 800X600 resolution as well as the 1024X768 resolution. The same with the Rainy Day theme.

When I use other themes there are scrollbars at the bottom of the page which make it look ultra unprofessional. I know there is a way to edit a file to make the scrollbars dissapear (besides using javascript) so there must be a file to edit to make the tables/cell's size smaller to fit the 800X600 resolution.

I searched the forum and couldn't find anything on resizing other than resizing pictures. I don't even have pics in the Coppermine gallery yet but it just looks so darn unprofessional to have the scrollbars on the bottom when there isn't even a picture that could have made the page expand.

Any help would be appreciated and to the Coppermine staff: Great product! ;)

take a look at the coppermine config: "Width of the main table (pixels or %)" and "Width of the table for file display (pixels or %) " - I'd set both to 100%
To tell you more, a link might be helpful... ;)

A link to my Coppermine gallery?

http://gallery.beltmarks.com

Both width's of the main table and file are set to 100%. Hope that you can see it when at the link.

Thanks for the quick responce.

your gallery is being displayed perfectly OK for me both with IE6SP1 and Opera7.21 on W2K with 1024x768 screen resolution. Maybe you could post additional info on your os, browser and resolution, or post a screenshot?

I see a small scrollbar when at 800x600.

Try setting the config to 95 or 90%.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Thanks for the input guys..

I'm still having the problems. I'm using all of the same browser settings as you and I've changes the config width settings to 90% then when nothing happened I set it to 50% and still the same thing.

I think the problem is coming from the top table where it says "Coppermine Photo Gallery: Your online photo album"

At the 800 resolution I noticed that that section sticks out a little bit out of the resoultions border (don't know how esle to describe it?"

As I mentioned the default theme is fine but the others are like this. COuld there be a problem with the.CSS file or the template.htm files?

Thanks again for the fast and courteous replies.

If you want to stick to the project theme, try editing this line in the theme template.html;

<div id="Menu1" style="position:absolute; width:800px; height:30px; z-index:1; left: 20px; top: 100px;

Try changing the 'width:800px'.

Thanks, changing the width in the template.html file seemed to get rid of most of the scrollbar. Now there is a tiny piece left which I assume is from the top table.

I'm actually planning on making my own theme but I wanted to make sure I got any possible problems out of the way with so I can leave from what problems may arise.

Thanks again for the speedy replies!
