coppermine 500 internal error

yesterday, i uploaded a new theme for the gallery. i changed my theme to the new one. i had problems with it (as in it not working) and i forgot to change it back to one of the other ones.

today i go to log into the gallery to fix it up and i get this error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@taylorkitschsource.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

i know its because of the new theme. is there any way to fix this so i dont have to start over?? like can i change the theme from my cpanelx??

You can change the theme using yourdomain.com/index.php?theme=classic

i tried that and nothing worked.  i cant login or anything.

See the server error log and find out why 500 is thrown.

What version are you using?

im using the 1.4 version. and all it says in the server log is that something isnt working or whatever. ive tried everything.

apparently i was notified that it was reloaded again. so i had to start over!

Huh? What got reloaded? Who notified you of what? What does "start over" mean in this case? Does it mean "case closed"?

the gallery was deleted and then re-added again. so i had to start over. someone at my host wouldnt let me try and fix the error so they just deleted it and re added it for me. so yes, the case is closed. i just still wish i knew how to fix a problem like that.

I wonder how can a webhost just delete and re-install any application without informing you. What if you gallery had pictures? They would have all gone. Ask your webhost what they did to know more.
