This is a problem with the 1.3beta version.  see here http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=5765.0
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

If there was anything like a perfect version we could stop working on this project ;D...
CPG1.2.1 is the latest stable version recommended for use on productive sites.
