Inventory Feature

Hi members. I have just installed a newly coppermine 1.4. It's running very smooth, however, I wanted to make sure it has all the features that I want for my website. I'm basically trying to use coppermine as an inventory. I'm looking for the gallery to feature several products, and once a product is clicked, it shows the picture with other pictures ("other available colors").

I was trying to use the film strip, but it couldn't specify specific pictures I wanted. Also I didn't want it these pictures to be in the album page.

Would coppermine be the best fit or should I look for another script?
