How do I remove the listing of the sub-category from the main page?

My gallery consist of main categories, sub categories and ablums

I just wish the sub-categories to appear only inside the main categories .. and NOT to appear alongside with the main categories on the main page...

how do I take the sub categories listing out from the main page...?

That way, the main page will not be too crowded..
