Hello, I'm pretty new with Coppermine but I got an error.
Installed version 1.3.0 on and that worked fine but when I want to save the new configuration which stays on http://www.maaswinkel.tv/foto/config.php.
I get a 404 error and I see the following adres
http://www.maaswinkel.tv/config.php

When I wat to loggin I got also an error it seams that it missed the foto directorie???

What do I wrong and how can I chang it? Thanks for you help.

Joachim Müller

either you have specified a wrong path in the config for "Target address for the 'See more pictures' link in e-cards" or your PHP variables are fishy on your server.
Use a tool like phpMyAdmin to correct the first issue (browse the cpg_config table), check phpinfo to check on the second issue ($SCRIPT_NAME e.a.).

Thanks for so far but can you be a bt more specific? I've set Target address for the 'See more pictures' link in e-cards  as http://www.maaswinkel.tv/foto/ but it doesn't work.

What do I have to do now?? I've a paid server room at Lycos.

Joachim Müller

log into coppermine as admin, admin tools, phpinfo
Check the stuff in the section "PHP variables" at the bottom. If you can't sort out what's important, post the whole section here.

I can't fix it here is a link http://www.maaswinkel.tv/foto/phpinfo.php I don't know what I need to change?

Is this always so hard to install Coppermine? Do I something wrong? It looks like there needs to be a change in the directory!

Thanks for your support

Casper

We cannot open that page, as we don't have permission.  Please do what gaugau said, copy and paste the whole section here.

And no, it's usually very easy, when the server is correctly set up.  The fact that there have been over 400,000 downloads of coppermine testify to that.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

I've moved it over to a sub-domain and this problem is solved. I've another one but I'll post that in its forum. Thanks for your help, you are great  ;)
