First Off I am new to Coppermine and please forgive me if this question has been asked before or this is posted in the wrong section.  I did try and search for the answer and could not find it in the search feature.

I have installed Coppermine onto my site and loaded some picture.  In the config I asked that a watermark be placed on all the pictures.  I uploaded a watermark done in photoshop by Filezilla and asked that Coppermine be directed to that file for the watermark.

As of right now, no water marks come up on the photos.  Any idea on what to do.

Stramm

needs to be a png and verify that the path is correct

yaqngie

I did save the watermark as a png file and under config and asked that it be centered.  Getting nothing.  I'm heading off to an appt right now and will post pictures when I return.

Thanks

Please post a link to your gallery and attach a screen-shot of your watermark settings.

Here is a copy of the water mark I want to use on the photos.

The website is www.capefearaquariumsociety.com/photos

Can we not post img on this site?

yaqngie

yaqngie

how deep does the path need to be labeled?

imagine/WaterMark.png?

photos/docs/en/imagine/WaterMark.png?

Is the watermark in the imagine file or the en/imagine file?

yaqngie

So I read through that doc and I understand that photos previously loaded will not carry the watermark but files loaded after setting up the watermark should have it.

Still can not get it to work.  Messed with it for a few days now so I am giving up!

tried photos/images/CFAS2011.png
and
images/CFAS2011.png and neither works.
>:(

Thanks for everyone's help, Im just slow when it comes to this and have devoted to much time messing with it.

Quotehttp://www.capefearaquariumsociety.com/photos/images/CFAS2011.png
exists, so
Quoteimages/CFAS2011.png
should work (for new pictures). Make sure that the capitalization is equal.

Hi,

I have also installed the coppermine gallery on my site few days ago and struggling with the watermark issue the same way.

-> I have ticked the check box to activate this function and chosen to have it on both thumbnails and full size, however, it does nothing. No new pictures are marked by the visible watermark.
-> I checked the path
-> I also tried the watermark function with the pre-installed sample with no success.

- screenshot of the watermark settings

What is wrong there? :)

Thanks a lot in advance!

Αndré

Your path is wrong. Remove the first slash or change the whole path to /gallery/images/watermark.png.

fotovalis

Thanks, now it works. However, it works only with the first option - removed the slash. Anyway, it is absolutely fine for me now.

I tried everything but I do not get an watermarkt on my files.

My provider uses GD2. I use the standard settings and did not change the watermark.

How can I debug the watermark proces?

Αndré

bird4ever, please start a new thread and explain your issue as detailed as possible. You should also add a link to your gallery and a test user account which is able to upload files to your gallery.
