CHMOD the albums folder and all subdirectories as suggested in the documentation that comes with coppermine.

I am having a related problem when I try to batch add images.  I have several folders on the same level as 'userpics' because I have used the Windows uploading feature (it created many 'wpw-XX' directories), and I can no longer see the 'userpics' folder on the batch add directory list to add some photoes that were in directories under the userpics.

I recently upgraded to 1.3, and would appreciate any help!

Thank you

Userpics is NOT for uploading by ftp.  It is used by coppermine for files uploaded by users using html/XP publish.

When you ftp files you should put them in folders you create in the 'albums' directory.

It is because many were uploading here, and it was causing problems, that it has been changed that 'userpics' is not seen by the batch add.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
