Automatically Detect Tags and Make Keywords

The pictures on my computer (Windows 7) have tags on them already. Is there a way that Coppermine can take those tags and make them keywords without me having to type them each individually again?

Coppermine can read IPTC and EXIF data out of the box. If the tags are stored in another format you either have to add them manually to Coppermine or convert the data to IPTC before you upload the pictures to your gallery.
