Whenever I try to upload, I get this error. It uploads the pic successfully, but when I try to place it in an album, this happens every time.
All my CMODs are set to 777. Help?

sounds like you didn't CHMOD the albums directory and everything within it, so the user the webserver runs under hasn't got write access to it and can not create the needed dirs and files. CHMOD to 755 or 777 (depending on your server config) as suggested in the documentation that comes with coppermine.

Symphony

The CHMOD is set to 777. I tried 755 too, and neither works.

Joachim Müller

how did you find out how the CHMOD "is set"? Don't trust the CHMOD status your ftp software shows you! Re-CHMOD instead.

Have you tried 'SILLY_SAFE_MODE'.  see the docs for 'safe mode issues'.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
