aight, i'm trying to install this thing for the first time (obviously) and it's saying:

Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Access denied for user: 'jessica@localhost' (Using password: YES)


but the database is set up and the username/pass are both correct


what am i doing wrong??

hm, there must be something fishy with your mySQL data. Edit include/config.inc.php (the file only exists on your server, not on your hard drive, because it has been created during install). Double-check that everything in it is set up as it is suppossed to. Avoid special chars.
Please post if this fixes things for you.

erything's right... the website i installed it on is a subdomain as i host it on my other site, do i need to change something?

when using localhost this normally shouldn't matter, but maybe (just to be sure) you could ask your webhost.
