There used to be a hack to do this, but it became invalid with 1.4. Would it be possible to simply enter a url pointing to the desired thumbnail to make the user galleries more noticable on the main page?

QuoteYou could use bbcode in the description

Yes, if I knew how. If *you* know how, could you post a Mod for it?  ;)

I see the article in the manual. However, it says nothing about what file to hack or where to put the codes. (and it further indicates that it's not a good idea to do this!) I'm sorry, I'm not that proficient in coppermine code. I can apply mods and that is about the end of my meager abilities in coding. That's why I was asking if it could be made a simple configuration option in the config menu where all I'd have to do would be enter the path to the file and have it displayed as the User Gallery icon.

OK... I finally got it. (DUH!) You add the ing code in the text describing the group.

Thanks for putting up with my stupidity. This takes care of the problem nicely, and I hereby withdraw the request for the feature.

Thanks to all who helped!

Not a valid feature request. There is no support on the feature requests board. Moving to a support board and marking thread accordingly.
