Ummm....i've uploaded all files to my server, and my webhost has set all necessary permissions. but there is a problem when i try to proceed with the install.

- when i point my browser to the install page it says "no input file specified."

i'm really confused about finishing the installation. i don't know what i'm doing wrong.

also, can I install through Dreamweaver?

any help?

Do a Google search for no input file specified - see if any of those suggestions help you.

Any ftp program is much better for uploading files to your site than Dreamweaver.  Plenty of them out there for free.  Just search around the web a little.

If you uploaded your files with Dreamweaver, I suggest deleting them from your webserver and uploading again with an ftp program.

You must have missed these links:

If your web server OS is IIS, then those posts should most definitely help you.  You didn't specify it, but I'm going to hazard a guess that your host is running IIS.

A search tip: check out every link that your search turns up.  It may not appear to apply to you, but a close investigation may yield a possible solution, like the fixes contained in the WordPress links I listed.
