Hi, another problem...

I didn't like 400px wide for the intermediate images and wanted to set it to 600, but the changes are not displayed. It stays at 400px wide. I even emptied the images folder with phpmyadmin to redistribute the pics, 600 is put in the config, but it remains 400 wide. I don't undersand why! Can you help? Thanks!

Stramm

on the config page when you change the intermediate size it tells you ...
Quote(**) When changing this setting, only the files that are added from that point on are affected, so it is advisable that this setting must not be changed if there are already files in the gallery. You can, however, apply the changes to the existing files with the "admin tools (resize pictures)" utility from the admin menu.

Did you run the admin tools already?

klow

Yeah, I noticed this note and I applied the changes to all pics with the admin tools, and nothing happened...

Can't really do much if your "gallery is offline".

klow

Sorry! It's online now. So, if you know a solution...

rphMedia

Did you apply the update to ALL albums?  This has to be specifically done in Tools.  On some servers, this takes a while.  If you briefly explain what you did and what the outcome was, we'll be able to tell you if you did it correctly.

I would also upgrade to 1.4.9 !

I applied the changes to all albums but I forgot to check the main field to have the changes done. I think that's it now, but I'll check if it's ok for the next pics I upload.

klow

Everything is fine now. It was actually my mistake, sorry. You should erase this topic.  :-\

We don't. Threads stay for the benefit of others, that's the whole point of running a support board.
