I just installed the modpack. And my thumbnails are all stretch and weird looking. http://demidlovato.com/photo/index.php I want my thumbnails to look like http://photos.nickjonline.com/index.php How can i do that??

Stramm

recreate thumbs as mentioned in the docs and the admin

Emilyy

Ok, so i got to admin tools right and should i choose only thumbnails? or what?
and i think i did recreate them, but nothing happened.

Stramm

Of course you need to enable thumb cropping before you do so (and enter the desired thumb size). Read the modpack docs...

Check permissons of files (644 or 666) and folders (755 or 777 - depending on your server).

Ok. The permissions on the whole gallery is 755. Should i change it to 755 or 644 or 666?

Joachim Müller

Depends on your server setup. Read up http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#permissions and do as suggested there.

Emilyy

Ok i read that. But i don't really get how to change them.
But oh well.

Use your FTP app or the shell for that. Read the programs documentation. You also may want to serach the web (try wikipedia etc.). There are a lot of good sites out there that describe the *nix permission system in detail.
