How to upload pictures

I feel a bit stupid asking this but how the heck do I upload pictures to my gallery?

I installed coppermine last night, and inegrated it with IPB. It works fine, I have set up a couple of categories and albums.

I`m stuck now, where do I find the upload area? I created and album for myself but cannot find where I`m supposed to upload photos

Are you sure you are logged in. 

There should be a link in the menu, 'upload picture'.
You can also ftp the pics into new folders you create, in the albums folder (but not in the userpics folder), then use the batch add facility to add them to the albums.
