thanks for letting me know - I removed the links to the profiles in said posting; those who want to find out more about the translators should be able to check their profiles anyway. Makes maintaing the first posting easier.

Hello everybody! I'm using coppermine more than several monthes, and all this time I haven't anything better. Thanks a lot for all developers. Now i want to help coppermine. I'm living in Ukraine, it's a big country beetwen Poland and Russia. Russian is my native language, so if you still need russian translation, I can help you.

With best wishes.
It's been a couple of months.  I'd hate to impose, but if there is still a need in a Russian translation, I'd like to do it.  Native Russian, live in US of A.

Here's the final Russian version.  Tested pretty much everything.  Includes FAQ in Russian as well.

Thanks for your contribution. Modified first posting of this thread.

My pleasure. Did find one (1) error in an obscure place: shows up on forgot_passwd.php.  Used a wrong word...

Attached is a fixed file

adi.stan

romanian.zip - v1.0.0 with diacritics
romanian-utf-8.zip - v1.0.0 without diacritics

Includes FAQ. First romanian translation for CPG 1.3.x.
For future modifications in CPG, I will update the translations too.

Enjoy!

(Sper sa nu fie probleme. Daca dintre cei care veti folosi aceste traduceri veti gasi erori, va rog sa ma contactati prin email. Bafta la toti :) )

the disticntion between diacritics (special chars) and non-diacritics is not the same as the difference between an iso-8859-2 charset and utf-8! Therefor, your second package "no diacritics" is incorrectly named "...-utf-8...".

Hi,
I'm almost done the Vietnamese translation (CPG ver1.3.1) but, I've seen that there's already a VNese translations for CPG1.2
Is this translation helpfull for CPG now? If it's so. I'll upload mine in the next few days.

Thanks CPG team for your CPG. It helped me much.

Casper

Your translation will be most welcome.  The 1.2x version will not work with 1.3.
Please just attach it here, as a text file, when ready, and gaugau will create a utf8 version, and put it in the download section.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

uh-oh, but I translated only utf-8 version :P Because I see all Vietnamese's sites are using only utf-8 encoding.

i want to do the traditional chinese translation. i will ask monkey later if he's still doing it, if not im willing to help.
also there's no chinese for 1.3.2 so im assume there's no change in the language files? thanks

Joachim Müller

There's chinese_big5 and chinese_GB available. There have been no changes in the language files, comparing cpg1.3.0 to cpg1.3.1 or cpg1.3.2. This means you can use cpg1.3.0 language files with cpg1.3.2 as well.
